Kamal Rungta
Kamal is the founder and Chairman of RCS Advisors. Under his vision and leadership, RCS is growing from strength to strength and is now leader in India-China advisory space and strong player in India-Europe market. With his international experience of over 11 years in US, Europe, China and Japan and 9 years in India, Kamal has been involved in more than 50 M&A transactions worth USD 1 billion in last 5 years.
Besides leading RCS, Kamal is also Managing Director of E.J. McKay & Co., Inc., a leading boutique investment bank and leader in China centric M&A advisory. Kamal is founder and Chairman of Maxgene Probiotics Pvt. Ltd., one of the few companies in growing Probiotics / Nutraceutical market in India.
Earlier Kamal has been the Chief Marketing Officer of NetAce Technologies, a company specializing in Microsoft Solutions for global clients. Before NetAce, Kamal was senior Manager in Procter & Gamble based in Kobe, Japan for over seven years.
Kamal has done his B. Tech in Chemical Engineering from IIT, Mumbai (1989), MS in Chemical Engineering from Penn State University (1992) and MBA from Penn State University (1993).
Pankaj Rungta
Pankaj Rungta is the Managing Director at RCS Advisors. He has more than 15 years of experience working with large global corporations across many verticals – auto components, IT, outsourcing, Insurance and Finance. Pankaj joined RCS in 2005 and since then has been primarily involved in advising companies on M&A between India, North America and Europe.
He has previously worked with Metropolitan Life Insurance Co, and was involved in its $11.5 Billion acquisition of Citigroups’s Travelers Life & Annuity. He has also worked with EDS mostly leading projects at their top client General Motors. Pankaj has also worked as a consultant to leading IT firms like IBM and Accenture. He started his career as Design Engineer at a Tier-1 automotive supplier in Detroit.
Pankaj holds B.E in Mechanical Engineering from University of Indore, India. He also holds M.S in Mechanical Engineering from University of Toledo, Toledo, USA and MBA in Finance from NYU Stern School of Business, New York, USA.
Vinit Deo
Vinit has over 9 years of experience in working in areas of Venture Capital, Project Finance, Business Strategy, Financial Planning, International Transactions etc.
He has held executive level positions with leading companies like the publicly traded Geometric Software Solutions Ltd and India’s largest media house – Bennet Coleman Co Ltd. He has independently handled assignments of raising Debt & Equity Capital, Mergers & Acquisitions and Due Diligence etc.
Vinit is also a speaker and author and has been a faculty on at various seminars organized by MCCIA, Pune Chartered Accountants Society etc. He writes articles for Professional Journals, websites like www.moneycontrol.com etc. He is the Vice Chairman of the Pune Branch of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, which is one of the largest in the Country.
He holds a Bachelors Degree in Commerce from Pune University and is a qualified Chartered Accountant.
